The Area

The Carmel is situated in the stunning North Wales Town of Llandudno. When staying at the hotel you are a few minutes from the town centre with all its attractions and amenities.
Llandudno is a Victorian Holiday resort which is bustling with tourist attractions from the Great Orme Tramway to the very well kept Victorian Pier.
Llandudno is also an excellent base to view the rest of North Wales with Conwy Castle just 10 minutes (by car) away and the great peaks of Snowdonia just half an hour away.
Bodnant Gardens
Bodnant Gardens is a stunning 80-acre garden set in the North Wales Countryside. It is located roughly 30 minutes from the carmel. It the Gardens are set above the river Conwy and it overlooks the river's valley with views towards the Snowdonia Range. The Gardens are open from the end of February to the end of November. It is highly recommended to visit this idyllic setting at all times during the year as you will be able to observe the dramatic changes in color and presentation throughout the seasons.

Snowdonia National Park

Home of mount Snowdon, the tallest mountain in Wales, Snowdonia national park is one of the most stunning areas of natural beauty in the United Kingdom. While in the area there you have the fantastic opportunity to climb the great mountain, be it via the sheer faces or the leisurly inclines.
Snowdonia National park is the second largest national park in England and Wales and boasts a whole host of tourist attractions including Swallow Falls and Gwydir Forest.

Great Orme

On the far end of the Llandudno Peninsula is Great Orme's Head, known, locally as the Great Orme. The Orme is home to Brittain's only cable-hauled tramway on a public road, which runs from the base of the Orme to the summit. At the half-way station of the tramway is the Copper Mine which is open during the summer season.
